G. Anthony King, BSc., MBCS CITP Mr. G. Anthony King has been the Group Chief Executive Officer of Barbados Shipping & Trading Company Limited since October 1, 2004. Mr. King is also a Director of several other publicly traded companies in Barbados, such as Almond Resorts Inc., Banks Holdings Limited and the Barbados National Bank. He is also the Chairman of the Tourism Development Corporation and a Director of the Barbados Private Sector Association. His business career spans almost 35 years, twenty-three (23) of which were spent with the Neal & Massy Group, initially as the CEO of one of N&M's subsidiaries in Barbados, and subsequently as the Executive Chairman for Neal & Massy's Eastern Caribbean Group of Companies, before departing to take up the BS&T appointment. He has been associated with various private sector organisations, as a Past President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce & Industry, as well as a Director of the Caribbean Association of Industry and Commerce (CAIC). He continues to participate in the community as a Trustee of the Barbados Youth Business Trust. Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex, England and the chartered designation of Information Technology Professional.
