In 1990, RPPL was merged with West Indies Records (Barbados) Limited (WIRL) and the new company was called Rainbow WIRL. In 1995, the company's name changed again to Rainbow Paper Products (1995) Limited after the assets of WIRL were sold off. Since then it has been managed under the Knights Limited umbrella. Today, Knights Limited's sole business is the manufacture and distribution of paper products from its own conversion facility. The range of products, which includes facial tissue, hand towels and toilet tissue, are sold under five brands to the local and export market. It also supplies specialty items like printed napkins and coasters, and has developed a lucrative niche in private label manufacture for hotels and restaurants. « back
